Don't Take Yourself Too Serious

Over the years I have learned to laugh at myself when I make a mistake or get upset. It is awesome how just laughing can instantly change your mood when you are mad or even sad. I use to do this for my kids because I didn't want them to see me lose my cool or see me sweat and then I noticed that it was actually having a positive effect on me. My call to action is to try and laugh at yourself when you start to feel mad or upset and see how this can change your outlook. Thank you for visiting my blog and see you soon.

How to Find The Brightside of Things and Scrapbook Them

The Funny thing about Scrapbooking is this:

If you think you don't have anything to record and create in your Scrapbook then you must know there is always something because we all lead unique lives even when we think they aren't.

For example you can take things that seem very small or unimportant at the time and even made you mad and make a layout in your album about it. Why you might ask, because so one day it may be very important to you. Tonight when I  took my daughter Brooke to her dance class and as we were literally running out of the door I noticed that she was missing a ballet shoe. I'll admit it I was frustrated thinking that we would be late but, the moment I dropped her off and saw her little smile and the look on her face all the frustrations I felt were lifted even though she was wearing gold sparkly slip-ons. So even something like this can be a great thing to journal on a layout or journal cards. Make sure to realize the small things that make us who we are and embrace them. I love my baby girl.
